First Meets In The Books

The Southern Minnesota meet went well.  In attendance were Cannon Falls, Northfield, Lakeville, Caledonia, Rochester, Weston, Wisconsin and Chad Anderson and his son Hayden, who now are in Grand Rapids where Chad is teaching.  They won the “farthest traveler” award.  We had 73 lifters, with the large majority being JV lifters.  Winning the JV Team championship was Cannon falls over Lakeville South, 52 to 49.  Northfield won the Varsity division.  Many thanks to all who lifted, coached, volunteered or watched.  Fun meet as always.  Merry Christmas and Happy new Year to all!!

71 lifters from Armstrong, Burnsville, Rosemount, and Little Falls competed at the North Metro Open on Saturday also.  Those meet results can be viewed HERE.

* The next meets on the schedule will be held on January 18th, with Rosemount Open, and the Raider Open just down the road in Northfield.
